- The
State of Kansas chose the Starling system for their WIC
solution. Pilot is scheduled for early first quarter of
2003. In the meantime, Kansas WIC staff are hard at work
on requirements review, selecting pilot sites, and planning
for clinic implementation.
- We
recently completed the successful pilot implementation
of our latest WIC system for the Commonwealth of Puerto
Rico, Departamento de Salud, the fifth largest
WIC program in the United States.
- The
Starling Consulting Washington WIC solution has been in
operation since July 1997 with the completion of statewide
rollout in July 1999. The Washington WIC System serves
a statewide caseload of 147,000. For this project, we
implemented 134 permanent and 142 mobile WIC sites, installed
165 new Wide/Local Area Networks, trained 900 clinic and
state staff. The system has issued over 2 million on-demand
checks.
